Locally and lovingly produced for the 2024 holiday season, this year’s edition of Season’s Readings from FM 91 will feature a selection of short stories from The Story-Teller collection by Maud Lindsay (1874-1941). WGTE invites you into the magic of these charming and family-friendly tales as they are intertwined with Christmas carols, classical music, and familiar voices from WGTE, including Mary Claire Murphy as narrator. Tune in to FM 91 on December 16th at 7 p.m. and December 24th at 9 p.m. for our season’s readings, a program especially for young ones who sleeplessly await Christmas morning and for the young-at-heart seeking food for the soul.

A wee woman diligently tends to her magnificent garden but is distraught by her neighbor’s disheveled yard. Her fairy godmother comes to her aid by giving her the seed of a magic flower, and the wee woman watches and waits to see what will happen.
