Teacher Workshops
Read Across Toledo is a reading program to support elementary classroom teachers achieve their literacy goals through the use of technology.
How does it work?
- Teachers will participate in a workshop to discuss the book, share lesson ideas and explore how to use technology to create book-related projects with their students
- Teachers will be given lesson plan ideas, PBS LearningMedia resources and classroom sets of the selected book
- Teachers will utilize the ideas and resources in their classroom
- Teachers will complete a short evaluation survey at the conclusion of the program
