The Public Broadcasting Foundation of Northwest Ohio (WGTE Public Media) is a tax exempt, 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that relies on public support provided by individuals, corporations, foundations and various governmental entities to advance its mission to serve those who benefit from our programs and services. Our success depends upon the public having a high degree of confidence in all that we do.
WGTE's board of directors and management are committed to deepening public confidence in and support for the organization. Therefore, WGTE, practices sound financial management and complies with all local, state, and federal laws. WGTE's financial activities and reports are subject annually to a third party audit performed by a Certified Public Accountant. WGTE is dedicated to conducting its business ethically with honesty, integrity, fairness, respect, trust, and accountability. We also recognize the need to be publicly accountable by presenting accurate and sufficiently complete information about WGTE to enable the public to evaluate whether the organization is using its resources well.
WGTE, like all non-profit organizations, is required by law to make certain financial information available to the public. These documents may be downloaded below or are available for public inspection during regular business hours of 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at WGTE's offices located at 1270 South Detroit Avenue, Toledo, Ohio and online via the IRS website.
