Into the Fire

In 1962, three great visionaries (ceramic artist Harvey Littleton, chemist Dominick Labino and the Director of the Toledo Museum of Art, Otto Wittmann) began the contemporary glassblowing movement, with two workshops at the Toledo Museum of Art, during which they began experimenting with melting glass in a small furnace and creating blown glass art.
