A peaceful yet energizing start to your day with the world's greatest classical music. Hosted by WGTE's Mary Claire Murphy, the program mixes well-known chestnuts with lesser-known but deserving works, designed with both the casual and the discerning listener in mind.

Meet Your Host Mary Claire Murphy

Mary Claire Murphy is from Bowling Green, Ohio and became interested in piano in 2003. Her love for music grew and graduated from Xavier University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music with a concentration in piano performance and composition. She graduated from Bowling Green State University with her Master of Arts in music composition in 2020. She is thrilled to be a part of the WGTE team and is able to share her love of music with listeners. She has fond memories of the educational kits that her mom would bring home from WGTE. She associated WGTE with the joy of learning.
