Jonie McIntire is the first female poet laureate of Lucas County. She is an avid supporter of poetry and art throughout medium-sized Midwest cities and believes in a collaborative effort between members of the creative community. She found poetry early through Alice in Wonderland, and her passion for the English language has only grown from there.

Curtis A. Deeter is an internationally published author of fantasy, science fiction and horror. He is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Midwest publication Of Rust and Glass. When he is not reading or writing, he enjoys spending time with his family, discovering new music, and taste-testing craft beers at local breweries.
