Be My Neighbor Day

Children and their families and caregivers are invited to the Toledo Zoo on Monday, August 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to participate in WGTE Public Media’s Be My Neighbor Day! 

At this event, children will meet Daniel Tiger from Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and participate in engaging educational activities that promote kindness and friendship. Crafts and activities include assembling care packets, sharing messages of kindness for TV, making a door hanger with a kindness message, making Daniel Tiger and friends masks and more! We will have lots of Daniel Tiger fun!

Come out and enjoy Be My Neighbor Day 2026. Ugga Mugga!

A Night of Mystery | Fall Sneak Peek Double Feature

Two new seasons of mysteries. One night at the station. 

Join WGTE Public Media on Thursday, August 27, for an exclusive sneak peek of two new seasons before they premiere: The Marlow Murder Club and Marble Hall Murders. You'll see 20 minutes of each — just enough to get you wondering.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the screening begins at 7:00 p.m. at WGTE.

The evening also includes door prizes, light refreshments, conversations and a tour of the station.

This event is free and open to the public. Bring a friend, bring your best theories and enjoy your favorite mysteries.
